I‘m devoting this page to iPad apps that are in some way so useful, or exciting, or educational, or just plain fun and enjoyable that I’m thrilled that I bought the iPad. I’ll add to the page from time to time, and add the new posts to the top of the page. You’ll then be able to see quite easily when I’ve made a new post.
So here goes.
YouTube
The YouTube app is standard on the iPad and iPhone when you buy them. The videos are especially recorded for these apps. Instead of being Flash videos they are H.264 videos. If you’re not yet a fan of YouTube, you have a whole new world ahead of you. My latest blog post is about the new Curnard liner Queen Elizabeth.
Here is an iPad screen shot of the YouTube page for this ship, the day before it was named by the Queen at a ceremony at Southampton on 11 October 2010.
Please forgive me. My tenses were out of kilter in the above paragraph which was written and posted the day before the ceremony.

Actually, the above screen shot is not from the YouTube app, but from a special YouTube page for mobile devices. The videos look amazing when seen in full screen mode with the mobile device held horizontally.
I rate it 10/10
